yayy! went for streengs yesterday (x erm. well actually i wasn't really feeling well...my stomach hurt. boo. :( but a little while later i was feeling slightly better so i took a cab and zoomed down to school. hee. (: and i'm glad i went..cos it was super fun! (:
hee. and it was nicer still, because so few people went. [ok yes i know that sounds bad... i shouldn't really be happy that the rest of strings didn't turn up] haha but it was still nicer. (: smaller group, you see. cosier. (: haha. so funny. ms ku said that the security guard refused to let her in, and told her to come back on monday. hee. that's why she was late. lol and then when she came in, she asked us if she looked like a bandit or something. haha i'm so amused. xD
hee. and we had a new piece! whee! two new pieces in fact. haha. but it was all kinda messy though...we kept on getting lost. haha. and i dunno why but deanna and i were the only unlucky stand who got some weirded kind of score which wasn't stuck in order. like the usual kind would be pg 1 then 2 then 3. but ours was pg 1 then 3 then 2. hoho. so we spent a long time figuring where everyone else was playing. haha. but i like the 2 pieces! they sound very cool. haha. oooh and ms ku was being entertaining! she told us the story of "the red violin" haha i seem to have heard it somewhere before just that i can't remember where. it was kinda creepy though. i can't believe some people can be so perverse as to "dejuice" their wife[as how ms ku put it] then mix the blood with varnish and then paint the violin. goodness! yucks. i was scrutinising my violin after that. but nope! it wasn't red. it was orangey brown. yayy. i wouldn't want to drop dead suddenly like that person who bought over the red violin. haha. hmm it seems like most ghost stories start with red. like red violin. and red candy. and red shoes. gosh. oh and at first i missed some parts of the story because i was yakking with deanna. so afterwards i was asking stupid questions like "you mean the composer of that piece killed his wife?!" and stuff like that.
anyway. (: nise wrote me sooo many letters! haha. one for each day while i was away in egypt. woot. (: yayy. *boink* and i got this whole stack of stuff too. like the year 3 booklist, school fees letter, eng and chinese papers, etc. bahaha.
i think the hols are kinda boring though. boo. really. nothing to do. haha. except for sleeping. uh huh. and hmm.. eating. (: boink. i wanna sleep the whole day! yayy! but that's not very possible though...still have to practise piano. and study for jlpt. ): boohoo. and there's currently no interesting event for me to look forward to. except for christmas. which is still a long way to go. *whines* and i'm still having post-holiday-blues. whee. so i miss the food and the place and everything else. haha. sounds stupid, i know. ><

valencia: hello! yayy haha. i think everyone had the wrong impression of egypt... it has a mediterranean climate so it is very hot during summer [about 40 deg] but winters are usually mild. uh huh. so during winter, it's only hot and glaring for about 4 hrs, then the rest of the time, it can be as cold as 17 deg. hee. but anw. i was wearing long sleeves to protect my skin from the sun. cos i dun wanna get skin cancer. and i dun like sun block either. so sticky. heh.
